Primary Purpose: We are looking for talented and energetic appointment setters with a passion to meet store customers who would like to take advantage of a free in-home consultation for our kitchen remodeling program. The ideal candidate should be outgoing, energetic, enthusiastic and self-disciplined with a drive to succeed in an exciting and fast paced environment. JOB SUMMARY: Generates leads from assigned Home Depot stores and home shows by interacting with customers in a friendly, respectful and helpful manner. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Generates kitchen refacing sales leads by attending to store displays in Home Depot stores or at assigned home shows; Sets up, moves, and removes temporary lead generation displays; Maintains the upkeep of ISP display, literature, and samples; Maintains positive working relationships with Home Depot staff SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None QUALIFIICATIONS : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Three to six months of customer service or customer interaction experience preferred. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, write and speak clearly in English. Must be able to present information to individuals or groups of customers. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one-or-two step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
